Frank Churchward was in Korea in 1954-55. He was with the Army combat engineers, operating heavy equipment, building bridges and doing carpentry.

Eldon Anderson was a tank officer in Korea in 1979-80. Korea had lost a lot trees during the Korean War. But one day one of his tanks accidentally ran over a farmer’s apple trees.
